Bitumen remover and degreaser for construction equipment
GBR® is a bitumen and tar remover designed to clean equipment used in the building and public works.
GBR® is a new-generation product designed to meet the different needs of users in terms of safety of use, efficiency, environmental impact and preserving treated surfaces. Unlike conventional acid products, GBR® is not classed as a corrosive or irritant, meaning it poses much less of a hazard during use.

Apply with a low pressure sprayer or by soaking.
Tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use.
  • It is essential to do tests first.
  • Use the product neat: do not dilute.
Application by spraying:
  • Apply a first layer with a low-pressure sprayer.
  • Leave the product to act about 15 minutes.
  • Apply a 2nd layer.
  • Leave to act 15 other minutes.
  • Do not let the product dry before rinsing.
  • Rinse the surface using a high pressure washer.
Application by soaking:
  • Soak the tools or equipment in the solution 10 to 60 min.
  • Rinse the surface using a high pressure washer.
  • Physical state at 20°C: Liquid.
  • Appearance: Green.
  • Odour: None.
  • pH: 6.70 +/-0.5.
  • Boiling point [°C]: 251°C.
  • Density: 0.89 ± 0.02.
  • Solubility in water [vol/vol]: Totale.
  • Flash point [°C]: 173°C.
  • VOC’s: < 1 g/l.
The following values are for guidance only:
8 to 10 m2 / L
  • 25 L containers.
  • 200 L drums.
  • 1000 L IBC containers.
  • Store in a dry place at a temperature of between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Shelf-life: 24 months from date of manufacture, in original unopened can.
  • Wear protective gloves, clothes and goggles.
  • Do not allow to dry.
  • Do not dilute or mix with another product.
  • For ideal application it is essential that GBR® be used when the temperature of the substrates is between -15°C and 30°C.
  • Do not apply during rain or in very hot weather. Air temperature: between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Breathing protection: No breathing protectionequipment is required under normal use conditions.
  • Hand protection: Wear chemical-resistantgloves (neoprene, PVC or similar).
  • Skin protection: Wear clothes that will protectthe skin and have long sleeves.
  • Eye protection: Wear protective goggles.
  • In case of ingestion: Do not induce vomiting.
  • Contact a doctor or specialist.
