No-rinse biodegradable paint stripper - Gel version
Guard Remover® Eco VG Painted Surfaces is a powerful new-generation stripper designed for stripping paints, varnishes and organic coatings.
Guard Remover® Eco VG Painted Surfaces has been designed to meet the varying requirements of applicators in terms of safety during application, effectiveness, impact on the environment and respect for the surfaces treated.
Guard Remover® Eco VG Painted Surfaces contains no chlorinated solvents, no paraffin, non-harmful product. It does not have the drawbacks of traditional strippers (flammability, hazardous to the user and to the environment...). 
In the form of a viscous liquid, GGuard Remover® Eco VG Painted Surfaces can be applied with a brush. Once applied, it can stand several hours on vertical surfaces without problem (e.g for night work). The fact there is no paraffin, substrates can be cleaned easily without rinsing and then be covered with a new coat of paint or coating.
Guard Remover® Eco VG Painted Surfaces can be used on a large range of substrates (plaster, brick, metal, wood, stone...) and on many paints (acrylic, glycero, polyurethane...). Gel version ideal for vertical surfaces. Can also be applied to horizontal surfaces.

Apply with a roller or natural fibre brush.
Tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use.
  • Use neat: do not dilute. 
  • Always test on a small hidden portion of the substrate before applying.
  • Shake the product well before use.
  • Apply the product liberally to the surface to be treated.
  • Allow it to act from one up to several hours in order for the coating to fully soften.
  • The product can stay all night and be removed the following morning.
  • Remove all the material with a knife or spatula.
  • Only scrape, no rinsing required.
  • Brush to eliminate the residues with a hard bristle brush (such as scrubbing brush). Do not use a metallic brush.
  • Cleaned surfaces can be covered with a new paint or coating after 24h drying.
  • Physical state at 20°C: Viscous liquid.
  • Colour: Uncoloured.
  • Odour: Slight.
  • pH: Not applicable.
  • Boiling point [°C]: 100°C.
  • Relative density: 1.05 ± 0.01.
  • Solubility in water [vol/vol]: Total.
  • Flashpoint [°C]: Not applicable.
Coverage depends on the number and quality of coats to be stripped. The following values are for guidance only: 1 to 4 m2/kg.

  • Store in a dry place at a temperature of between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Shelf-life: 48 months from date of manufacture, in original unopened can.
Ecological and respects the environment:
  • Water-based.
  • Chlorinated solvent-free.
  • Safe and non-toxic.
  • Biodegradable > 90%*.
  • VOCs < 85 g/l*.
  • This product can have harmful effects on rubber, plastic slabs. It is therefore necessary to protect these materials.
  • For best results it is essential that Guard Remover®Eco VG Painted Surfaces is used when the temperature of the substrates is between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Do not apply during rain or in very hot weather. Air temperature between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Do not dilute or mix with any other product.
  • Breathing protection: No breathing protection equipment is required under normal use conditions with suitable ventilation.
  • Hand protection: Wear household rubber gloves.
  • Skin protection: Wear protective clothing over exposed areas of skin.
  • Eye protection: Wear protective goggles.
  • In case of ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Contact a doctor or specialist.
